The museum periodically hosts events that are open to the public. In addition, the museum often participates in local events and fairs. Special hosted events are listed below:

Christmas In Dixie - CANCELLED until further notice - Every Friday evening during the month of December the museum is open to the public and hosts free concerts and refreshments for the community. The theme of an old-fashioned Christmas is celebrated throughout the museum. Museum and Library of Confederate History, Greenville, SC

Lee Jackson Banquet - This banquet is hosted by the museum's host SCV Camp 36, 16th SC Infantry. The banquet honors the memory of Generals Lee and Jackson. 

South Carolina Arms Collectors Association Gun and Knife Show At each of the SCACA Gun and Knife shows in the TD convention center, the museum sets up a booth with a unique display of antique arms. TD Convention Center, 1 Exposition Drive, Greenville, South Carolina.
